I have earned the nick name of 'cow photographer.' Capturing the life of cattle, the farmers and the Texas landscapes has been my main joy. Since art directing is a large part of what I do for a living, I make time to find a balance by photographing the beauty of the pasture. The Texas landscape, with its magical longhorns has captured my heart.
In 2018, I photographed the Guinness Book of World Records longest living and longest ever longhorn, Sato. His horn spread exceeds 130' today. Bringing the title of 'longest longhorn' back to Texas was a huge honor. I have multiple videos of the measuring process as well as Sato in his natural habitat. He has been officially inducted into the Austin State Capitol, where they have my photograph prominently displayed.
I was born in France and raised in Asia, Africa, the Middle Eastand Europe. Began my career as an artist in Australia, moving to Texas in 1992. Today I work as art director for Texas Children’s Hospital and hold an MA in Liberal Studies from Rice University (2012) and a BA in Commercial Design from TCU (1982). Am a regular student of Advanced Photography with Peter Brown at Rice University.
